This workshop is open to street art enthusiasts aged 9-13 years old and will cover the wide world of street art while learning art-making techniques and practices to expand creativity. We will create artwork throughout the workshop in the varying techniques then do a final street art piece.

Led by artist and Fiksate Gallery Director Jenna Ingram (also known as Jen Heads), this course promises to inspire, educate, and expand your child's passion for art.

Supported by Gordon Harris Art Supplies, all materials will be supplied, and no prior art skills are necessary, but very helpful to get the most out of this course! 

Workshop Details: Wednesday after school - 8-week term. 

Starting Dates: Wednesday, February 21st, 2024

Time: 3:45pm - 4:45pm

Cost: $250 per term

Location: Fiksate Gallery, 54 Hawdon Street, Sydenham

Maximum Capacity: 10-15 children per class

What to expect on this course:

• Your child will explore a wide variety of artistic techniques using both traditional and contemporary mediums.

• Learn about the wide range of street art practices and discover their favourite.

• Experiment with stencils, marker pens, painting, collaging, and more to create unique artwork.

•  Learn the important processes of artwork development such as composition, perspective, and proportion, and explore character development.

• Receive encouraging guidance and enthusiasm from our experienced tutor, Jenna Ingram.
